Remove Sync from SharePoint to Outlook

Issue:

One of a user had 1000’s of task in SharePoint list. User synchronized that SharePoint list with it’s outlook. After getting so many tasks in Outlook he/she wants to delete the task only from Outlook. But after every deletion these task were creating in Outlook once again, which is an expected result.

Resolution:

Remove/delete the sync of that SharePoint list to Outlook. Here are the steps:

Open Outlook à File --> Account Settings --> Click on SharePoint List tab --> Select the desired link which need to remove --> Delete
